Sannella has many treasured personal memories of his encounters with hundreds of renowned celebrities and politicians, including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Pope Pius XII, Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly.

and circumstances and people all rolled into one man's life. The book was
very readable and filled with the energy of Roy Sannella's life which seems
to still have room for more. Getting to know Roy through his book was only
part of the experience. I also got to know an entire generation of significant
people from a behind the scenes view only open to those who lived it.

the world, Roy's life has been anything but dull. He has rubbed elbows with
the rich and famous to men with questionable character. His book takes you
on an adventurous global journey full of excitement and wondering if nine
lives is really enough for Roy. From grade school, military service, and global
travels, Roy shares his true life adventures in vivid detail. I found his
book to be very enjoyable reading.

life. From Hollywood stars to men we question their character - he has known
them and worked with them and was part of their lives far beyond what he has
written. Roy is not only a true friend but a person I have come to respect
and trust. His priorities now in life are his family and his honor to the
Marine core and his country. I am honored to have been a small part of his

who experenced the Great Depression, World War Ii or Korea will get a kick
out of this book. Roy Sannella has definitely been there and done that. He
came of age during the depression, seved in the navy and marines during World
War II and korea, and lived the kind oflife many only wish they had lived.
his tales of carousing with Harry Guardino, Tommy Sands, Frank Sinatra and
the rat pack, his stories about the beautiful women he dates during the go-go
Sixties, and een his grimmer stories about surviving hurricanes and typhoons
make for great rading.
This guy's book is worth reading!
